Teaching healthy hygiene habits through a mobile-first experience

As part of a retainer between Parallax and Unilever. we were working on internal marketing and innovation projects with their R&D teams in Leeds. One of our projects was to come up with a way to teach young children good hygiene habits using a range of Lynx products.

We came up with Lynx: Germ Busters, an online game using Webgl technology where users play through levels of increasing difficulty blasting bad smelling bacteria along the way.

Scoring Extra Points

To drive home the good hygiene habits we were trying to teach, users would gain more points for only using bursts of finite spray, teaching them not to overspray or else they wouldn't any ammo to bust the germs.
